Jorge De Santiago

Executive Director

Jorge De Santiago, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, moved to Boulder in 1988. Since then, he has shown his commitment daily to his community in many different ways: from being a volunteer teaching soccer classes, teaching classes in folkloric dance to promote culture, to working in policy changes that benefit Latino immigrants on the national, state and local levels.

Jorge has been a member of the board of directors of the Boulder County Public Health department since 2013 and is the Executive Director of El Centro AMISTAD, where he has worked since 2013.

In his free time, you can find Jorge playing with and feeding his granddaughters, walking with his dog, Brosky, and watching soccer games with his family
