Health Promoter / Diabetes Prevention Specialist 

Lupita was born in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico, and has been a part of the Boulder community since 2005. She has been involved with the AMISTAD family since its inception. In 2018 she joined the Health Promotors movement to cultivate her passion for working with her community and interest in having a healthier life with her family.  Lupita likes to work with children, and for that reason is preparing to get her license in early childhood education. In addition to being a Health Promotor and facilitator of the Fiesta en la Escuela (School Party) program, she is an artist making recycled art. In her free time she likes to walk in the park, ride a bicycle, and spend time with her family.
