These times continue to be challenging for many Latino and immigrant families in our community. Many are navigating stress, uncertainty, and emotional strain that affect their daily wellbeing.
At AMISTAD, we welcome every family with compassion, cultural understanding, and deep respect for their experiences.
Our Promotoras de Salud, emotional wellness circles, youth programs, and elder activities create safe, welcoming spaces where families can feel supported, listened to, and valued. These programs honor culture, language, and community wisdom—offering hope, healing, and connection.
Colorado Gives Day is one of the most meaningful moments to give. Every donation from November 1 to December 9 is boosted by the statewide Incentive Fund, allowing your support to go further.
We also want to share the true impact of your contribution.
Providing culturally rooted and trauma-informed support requires trained staff, materials, transportation, and ongoing coordination. On average, it costs between $250 and $650 dollars per participant for AMISTAD to offer:
- Emotional wellbeing circles
- Promotoras-led health education and prevention
- Youth programs, tutoring, and outdoor activities
- Elder wellness, social connection, and movement classes
- Community outreach, translation, and navigation support
