Health Promoter / Diabetes Prevention Specialist

Leticia was born in Mexico City, Mexico.  She has been a part of El Centro AMISTAD since 2005. Each year since then, she has been an active member of the Compañeras program and has participated in all the Cumbres de Mujeres (Women’s Summits). Lety has her license in nursing from the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the National Autonomous University of Mexico) and has always had a passion for collaborating and connecting with her community. Now as a Promotor, she has the opportunity to directly support the Latino community in Boulder County. She is passionate about dancing Zumba and making healthy homemade desserts.
